All the members of Big In Iowa have at least one thing in common. They were all raised in Hamilton, Ohio. A small manufacturing town surrounded by farm fields, about equal distance between the cities of Dayton and Cincinnati. A few of them went to the same schools together, some played in various bands together and at one point in time two of them shared the same jail cell.

There are four of 'em Mike Gray (Vocals, Guitars), Dan Andrews (Vocals, Guitars and other stringed instruments), Ken Glidewell (Vocals, Bass Guitar), and Randy "Spike" Wilson (Drums and Noises)

If you asked about their musical influences it could lead you down several different roads. Every traveler knows that eventually one road crosses another, and they meet at that common point. Big In Iowa met at the crossroad, and relied on each other to make music and watch it grow.
